Sweet Quince Chili Sauce
From: $10.00
Sweet Quince Chili Sauce (previously labeled SweetBabe)
Inspiration: Many Lebanese and Syrians now call Trinidad and Tobago home. The fragrance of the
quince fruit reminds me of Persia and cardamom.
Peppers Used: Slight Habanero
In our quest to bring unique tastes to our hot sauce fans we discovered the quince, an heirloom
fruit perhaps as old as recorded history itself and the stuff of myths. This fragrant and overlooked
fruit is extraordinarily delicious and in our blending makes for an almost addictive combination
of sweet, floral AND spicy hot. Think gourmet Asian sweet chili sauce.
Uses/Pairs well with: With a consistency of raw honey, these are just some of the ways we use
this hot sauce: serve with sharp hard sheep and cheddar cheese, brie or goat cheeses; drizzle on
your favorite protein, sizzle tofu, caramelize chicken or pork (makes great ribs), add to lightly
cooked kale or steamed cabbage, Poke and rice bowls. And it makes spectacular spiced vodka
cocktails! Sandra’s favorite.
Heat Level: Medium Heat on the back end

We love this hot sauce. Adds a touch of sweet, milder-side hotness to our breakfast foods…eggs, sausage, etc.

I love this sauce! Just the right amount of subtle spice with sweetness. It’s great on pork chops, chicken, eggs, you name it!

We had a panic when we ran out from our supply from the market but were stoked to find this online. A great addition to all meals, especially breakfast!

This is my new favorite sauce. It is good on it’s own, but I love combining it with other ingredients to make new sweet and sour sauces. I normally can’t handle too much spice, but the sweetness of the sweet babe provides a balance that I really enjoy!

Had bought the smaller bottle but knew I needed the larger size. I use it to spice up grilled chicken breasts, pork chops, and pour it over cream cheese for a great snack!

Quite literally the best hot sauce I’ve ever had. I have it on my breakfast taco every single morning!

Breakfast is not the same without Sweet Quince hot sauce! Breakfast and cheesy dishes are my favorite to pair with this sauce. It brought my husband’s jalapeño poppers to a whole other level of tasty. It is absolutely delicious and goes with everything!

I originally bought 4 oz of this at a Seattle farmer’s market ~ 4-5 years ago and realized i was running out! I was sooooooo glad to find you online and get a 16 oz bottle, along w/ the Mango Pepper Sauce. The quince one is absolutely divine–great flavor and not toooo hot! I love it on tacos (goodbye Tabasco) and dipping other food into. I like seeing what others use it on to expand its use!!

I found this sauce at a farmers market in Seattle. Shortly after, I moved to Michigan. I brought this with me in a cooler. I was thrilled to see that I can order it online. I also ordered it as a gift for my brother in law and he loves it. It’s very flavorful without being too spicy (level one). I love it on chicken, sandwiches, and dumplings. My brother in law dips his cheese in it. Highly recommended.
